Educators sounded off about the bill on EdWeek’s social media channels stating it’ll take a lot more than $60,000 to turn the tide on the teaching profession.
I'm not surprised.
While some educators are grateful for a raise in pay and nothing more, some educators are looking at other employee benefits, like health care, retirement, and professional-development opportunities in order to close the inequal gap of compensation that teaching gets versus other professions.
